LOTTO bosses have released an urgent update on a winning ticket as the winner is yet to be announced.

People who bought their tickets for the March 9 draw in the Oola area of ​​Co. Limerick are asked to check these carefully.

One Limerick player holds a ticket worth a life-changing €1 million.

The prize was from the Lotto Plus 1 draw and the €6 Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw.

It was previously reported that the location where the ticket was sold was the nearby store on Main Street.

Now Lotto bosses announce it has in fact been bought from the only petrol station shop on Main Street in Oola, formerly O'Donovan's Londis.

The winning numbers drawn in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday March 9 were: 07, 12, 32, 36, 40, 45 and the bonus was 16.

The winner must still contact Lotto headquarters to claim their prize.

Ticket holders have 90 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. For this winner, the last day to get their hands on the fortune is Friday, June 7, 2024.

National Lottery spokesperson Fran Whearty said: “Oola is a busy commuter village close to the border with the N24 which runs through Tipperary city and Limerick train station.
