The CCTV footage shows Abdul Shokoor Ezedi on January 31 at 11:25 p.m. Police now believe he is dead after entering the River Thames.
The 35-year-old has not been seen since the night of the attack on January 31, when a corrosive substance was thrown over a mother and her two children.
At a press conference on Friday, Commander Jon Savell said their working hypothesis was that he had gone into the water after he was last seen at Chelsea Bridge.
In the video, he is seen wearing a black jacket with a hood as he crosses the road and walks onto the sidewalk.
