Urgent Alert to the Lotto Deadline as There’s Only ONE DAY Left to Claim a Huge Cash Prize

LOTTO bosses have issued an urgent appeal for one lucky punter to claim his five-figure cash prize.

The winning Telly Bingo Snowball prize ticket was purchased on July 14, but the money has not yet been claimed by the winner.

The National Lottery is calling on Telly Bingo players in Laois to check their old tickets.

The winning ticket – worth a whopping €45,075 – was purchased from Dunnes Stores in the Kyle Shopping Center on James Fintan Lalor Avenue in Portlaoise, Co Laois.

The lucky winner has just one day left to claim this grand prize before the final deadline on Thursday, October 12.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “A player in Laois has just hours to go until the deadline to claim a snowball prize worth €45,075, won over the summer on Friday 14 July.

“As ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, the deadline to claim this Snowball Prize is Thursday, October 12.

“We would like to hear from the winner as soon as possible.

“We are appealing to all our Telly Bingo players who may have purchased their ticket from Dunnes Stores in the Kyle Shopping Center on James Fintan Lalor Avenue in Portlaoise on Tuesday 4 July to have their old tickets checked.

“It’s definitely time to search jacket pockets and handbags to make sure you don’t miss this!

“We keep our fingers crossed that this sounds familiar to one of our players and that the winner will be announced before closing time on Thursday.

“The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact our prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected]. Arrangements will then be made to to collect the prize.”

Elsewhere, a family syndicate who won a €3,867,027 Lotto prize has told how they kept their lucky ticket “hidden in the wardrobe” as they collected their life-changing prize today.

The winners, who bought their ticket for the October 4 draw from the Applegreen petrol station on Naul Road in Dublin’s Balbriggan, were delighted to collect their half of last Wednesday’s €7.7 million jackpot.

And the happy clan remembered the moment when they discovered the huge victory.

A delighted member of the group said: “We’ve been playing the same songs for years, so as soon as I saw the results I knew we’d won.

“I still wanted to check and triple check, so I scanned the ticket on the phone.

“I’m used to being told I’ve won a small amount of money, but when I got the ‘Congratulations’ message telling me to contact National Lottery head office, I knew we had definitely won.”
