Lucky Lotto player wins a huge amount but narrowly misses out on the mega jackpot

AN Irish Lotto players won a huge amount of money in tonight’s draw – but they narrowly missed out on a mega jackpot worth millions.

Lotto bosses have confirmed that the winning numbers in tonight’s Irish Lotto jackpot draw were: 2, 3, 6, 21, 28 and 47.

The bonus number called was 32.

Heartbreakingly, the jackpot was a mouth-watering €6,760,060, just one number out of the gambler’s reach.

However, the player managed to collect €38,252 after matching five numbers and the bonus.

The Lotto draw’s Match 5 prize worth €1,638 was also won by 14 players.

Meanwhile, the Lotto Plus 1 draw with a top prize of €1 million was not won.

The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 3, 4, 11, 23, 36 and 38.

And the bonus number called was 46.

The Match 5 + Bonus prize of €5,000 was also unclaimed.

However, the Match 5 prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw worth €500 was won by 21 lucky players.

Finally, the jackpot prize of the Lotto Plus 2 draw worth €250,000 was also not won.

The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 3, 8, 10, 23, 36 and 44.

And the bonus number called was 22.

The Match 5 + Bonus prize of €2,500 was also unclaimed.

However, the Match 5 prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw worth €250 was won by 20 punters.

WINNING Raffle PRIZE

There were 60 winners of the lottery prize, each receiving €500.00.

The winning lottery number was 4627.

Elsewhere, a winning Euromillions ticket worth as much as €500,000 was left in an unlocked car for days before its owners realized they had won big.

The large family syndicate purchased the lucky Quick Pick ticket from the Daybreak store at the Elm Court Service Station in Ballyneety, Co Limerick.

The family claimed the huge prize, which they won in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday, October 10^e November.

And as they collected their huge prize yesterday they burst out laughing and admitted the lucky note had been left outside their home in Co Limerick.

The father of the group said: “You won’t believe it. I left a ticket worth half a million euros outside the house in an unlocked car.

“I had no idea we had won. During those few days it was definitely the most valuable car in Limerick.”
