Lotto reveals where its winning €1 million ticket was sold as players urged to check slips

LOTTO bosses have revealed where a €1million winning ticket was sold, with players urged to check their slips.

A lucky Limerick punter won the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday evening.

National Lottery players are urged to check their slips

The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers for the Saturday March 9 draw were: 07, 12, 32, 36, 40, 45 and the bonus was 16.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location in Limerick will be announced in the coming days.

There was no overall winner of Saturday's Lotto jackpot, which was worth more than €4.1 million, but more than 87,000 players across the country won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

Wednesday's Lotto jackpot is now heading for a life-changing €4.5 million.

The National Lottery has advised Lotto players across the country to check their tickets carefully after last night's draw.

The Limerick winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.

The winner must contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected]. Arrangements will then be made for them to claim their prizes.

A spokesperson said: “It may have been a Saturday to forget for Irish rugby fans, but for one of our players in Limerick it will be a night to remember for all the right reasons!

“This player has become the latest National Lottery millionaire of 2024 and we urge all our players in Limerick to check their tickets carefully today as one player has a ticket worth a life-changing amount of money.

“The €1 million winner is advised to contact our prize claims team and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.”

We thought we had only won £2.60, but when we checked the bill again it said we had scored a EuroMillions jackpot of £61 million

In addition, another lucky Irish gambler will collect €2,000 a month for the next five years after winning a “special prize” in the EuroDreams Lottery last Thursday.

The player, based in Co Dublin, won the prize along with 62,000 other players in Ireland who bought a ticket for the draw.

There was no winner of the main prize, which was worth no less than 20,000 euros per month for thirty years.

And no Irish player managed to cash in the second prize, worth €2,000 per month, for the next five years.

The lucky Dublin player, who bought his winning ticket online, won the cash as part of the special EuroDreams 'Leap Day' prize.

Around 11 Irish players managed to match five numbers during the draw, each taking home a cool €126, while 652 Irish players cashed in €42 after matching four numbers.

The player has been urged to contact the money chiefs at Lotto headquarters to claim their prize.
