Lotto bosses reveal location of €263,000 winning ticket as jackpot rolls to €6.8 million

A LUCKY Lotto player in the Midlands region has won a whopping €263,000 in Saturday’s Lotto draw.

And Lotto chiefs have issued an urgent appeal to players in Co Laois to check their tickets carefully as they could be the winner of the life-changing prize.

The punter won the fortune after purchasing a Quick Pick ticket from the Maxol petrol station on Dublin Road in Portlaoise Town, Laois, on the day of the draw.

The Lotto player is guaranteed a week to remember after matching five numbers and the bonus ball in Saturday’s Lotto draw.

The winning numbers that yielded a whopping €263,000 were: 13, 17, 21, 22, 37, 42 and the bonus ball was 2.

However, Lotto bosses are calling on the successful player to come forward to claim their prize as they may not know their fortune awaits them.

The National Lottery said: “Laois winners are advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.

“They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for the winner to collect their prize at Lotto head office.”

Last night’s Lotto draw also saw more than 90,000 players win prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

But with no outright winner of the €6.4 million jackpot, this Wednesday’s jackpot is likely to roll towards a mouthwatering €6.8 million.

Meanwhile, EuroMillions players have been urged to check their tickets carefully after one lucky player bagged a life-changing €243,000 in Friday’s draw.

National Lottery chiefs have confirmed the player won the prize in Ballymun in North Co Dublin.

The successful winner matched five numbers and one lucky star to scoop a mouthwatering €243,254 in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.

The winning numbers in the EuroMillions draw were: 15, 20, 29, 39, 48 and the Lucky Stars 01 and 07

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold in the Ballymun Lidl store in Dublin 9.

Now Lotto players in the North Dublin area are being asked to check their tickets to see if they are the lucky winner of the incredible cash prize.

And the National Lottery has said that the person with the winning numbers should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] so that arrangements can be made so that they can get their can claim a prize.
