The level two prize was won after the player matched six numbers in the draw.

The winning EuroDreams numbers in the draw on Monday 6 November were 10, 13, 14, 25, 30, 35 and the Dream number was 5.

A notification has been sent to the lucky user’s online account.

They will also receive an email.

EuroDreams is the first annuity game of its kind to debut in Ireland.

The game comes twenty years after EuroMillions first launched in Ireland in 2004.

The main prize of the annuity, worth €7.2 million, will be paid out in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 over a period of 30 years.

Two players in France also took home the top prize after combining all six numbers and the Dream Number.

Tickets for the next draw can be purchased from the usual National Lottery agents online or via the app until 7.30pm on Thursday evening.

There are eight countries included in the game, including Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

The draw takes place every Monday and Thursday at 8 p.m.

The minimum amount players can purchase for the draw is one line of €2.50.

Players choose six main numbers from 1 to 40 and one bonus number (dream number) from 1 to 5.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “What a way to start the week!

“An online player in Dublin had an unforgettable Monday evening after becoming the biggest winner in Ireland in the first ever EuroDreams draw.

“The online player matched 6 numbers and won the unique prize of €2,000 per month for 5 years.

“In the first draw, two players in France also won the top prize of €20,000 per month for 30 years after both players matched 6 numbers and the Dream Number.”

“We urge all our online players in Dublin to monitor their accounts carefully today as one player has become Ireland’s first Tier 2 winner of the EuroDreams game.

“We remind players hoping to win a big prize that the next draw takes place on Thursday and tickets can be purchased before the 7.30pm cut-off time for sale nationally that evening in store, online at or via the National Lottery app.”
