A LUCKY Irish Lotto punter will cash in €2,000 a MONTH for the next five years after matching six numbers in tonight’s Eurodreams draw.
And two other players in France will benefit from €20,000 a month after finding all six numbers and the ‘dream’ number.
More than 47,500 players in Ireland won prizes, including the lucky winner of the Tier 2 prize, worth a whopping €120,000.
The lucky numbers were 10, 13, 14, 25, 30, 35 and dream number 5.
All players are advised to check their tickets in case they are one of the lucky bettors who scored big in the new draw.
The very first EuroDreams draw took place tonight at 8 p.m.
The tickets went on sale last Monday and since then excitement has been building among players across the country as this is the first annuity game of its kind ever seen in Ireland.
Unlike other lottery-based games, the annuity top prize, worth €7.2 million, is paid out in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 spread over 30 years.
Draws are held every Monday and Thursday, where players choose six main numbers from 1-40 and one bonus number (the so-called “dream number”) from 1-5 to create their combination.
Tickets for the EuroDreams game are available from usual National Lottery outlets nationwide, as well as at www.lottery.ie and via the National Lottery App.

Tickets can be purchased every Monday and Thursday before the 7:30 PM closing time.
As with the EuroMillions game, the draws will take place in Paris, France at approximately 8pm (Irish time) on draw nights.
In addition, bosses have revealed the location of the lucky ticket that netted one player an eye-watering €334,197 in Saturday night’s draw.
The Limerick gambler scored the huge sum after matching five numbers and the bonus figure in the main draw.
The winning numbers in last night’s Lotto draw were: 08, 24, 29, 37, 41, 42 and the bonus was 22.
And the Treaty County punter was sure to be celebrating after purchasing his winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Centra in the Northtown Shopping Center on Ennis Road.
Shop owner Ger Rodahan was delighted when he heard that one of his customers woke up yesterday morning to good news.
He said: “What a call from the National Lottery! There will be great excitement, both in the store and in the city, once it is announced that we have sold a ticket worth over €330,000.
“Most of our customers are local, so it’s great news for the community.
“For all we know, the winner may not even realize they’ve already won, so hopefully they’ll check their ticket soon.
“This is the biggest prize we have ever sold, so we hope this continues and we may have even more big wins soon.”
