In a video on his TikTok page, Josh revealed he’d bought the £1 and £2 cards to try.

And things got off to a successful start, as he said: “The first one I’ve done, I’ve won £2.

“So I’ve doubled my money on this scratchcard.

“Right, so we’re up at the minute.

“The most I’ve ever won on these is like £20!”

He then won again, £5, but the rest of the £1 ones were duds.

Moving onto the £2 ones, and straight away Josh won £4, and then £5 consecutively.

“I’ve won again, i’m going to go crazy!” he exclaimed.

He then added: “I do not promote this sort of stuff – I’m just doing it as an experiment.”

The next row of £2 ones were all losers, which he was fuming about, but he said: “I don’t think we’ve done too bad at all – I think we’ve done quite good!”

After calculating the winners, he worked out that he’d won £20 but spent £30, so he was £10 down.

“Can’t believe I won that much,” Josh captioned his video.

He also promised that if people liked his experiment, he’d try again with more expensive scratchers.

People were quick to comment on the clip, with one writing: “Definitely buy the more expensive ones the number of times your winning could win big

“If you look on the back it gives you odds on how many tickets you buy to get wins,” another added.

“Those £1 ones you’re doing, my mate’s misses won £40 on one yesterday,” a third commented.

“I remember winning £120 on a scratchcard. Felt like a lottery win,” someone else wrote.

“Most I’ve won is £250,” another added.
