It resembles Taylor Swift leave the Christmas tree burning until January – because she is far from home this holiday.
Luckily, she has a good reason to be thousands of miles away: her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football match. On Monday, the world-famous singer was spotted again cheering on her husband from the stands as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. Although she has attended several of his games since their romance began, this marks their first Christmas as a couple and, as evidenced by Swift’s appearance at the stadium, they are spending it together.
Wearing a black bow in her hair and a plaid miniskirt, Swift wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
That wasn’t the case for Thanksgivingas Kelce noted during an episode of his New heights podcast before the holidays that he would “eat KFC because I won’t have anyone here.” Meanwhile, Swift had a series of shows planned in Brazil over Thanksgiving weekend.
Now, after a whirlwind months of dating, sandwiched between football and touring, the pair could be in the same city as the year comes to an end – much to the delight of fans, of course. With her Eras Tour on hiatus until the next show in February, a source previously told ET that “Taylor is planning to spend a lot more time on it at Travis’ home in Kansas City while she is on hiatus.”
“Travis and Taylor are doing really well. Their relationship is developing great,” the source said. “They are both very excited to be together, and Travis makes Taylor feel comfortable and at home. They have mutual respect and admiration for each other, and their feelings for each other are genuine.”
Swift recently discussed the unusually public nature of her new romance: narrate Time“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to watch him do what he loves. We show up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”
Swift continued, “The opposite of that is you have to go to extreme lengths to make sure no one knows you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.’
