There must have been mistletoe nearby!
In a sweet new photo posted on Instagram on Monday, Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce the singer can be seen planting a kiss on Travis’ cheek at a pop-up Christmas bar in Kansas City.
The photo was apparently taken Sunday evening after the Chiefs’ tough loss to the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium. Taylor, 33, was at the game and was previously spotted cheering on Travis, 34 walking out of the stadium hand in hand.
In the caption of his post, NFL hairstylist Patrick Regan thanked Taylor for the photos he posted, including one of him trimming Travis’ hair before the game.
“Thank you @taylorswift for the photos of the Gameday Freshy for @killatrav 🙌🏼❤️ I had a great time at yesterday’s game 🏈,” Regan said.
The photo of Travis and Taylor posted by Regan showed the Chiefs tight end wearing a light-colored lumberjack jacket, which many fans speculated could be a nod to the third anniversary of Taylor’s album, Always.
Kelce arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs game in a cottage-core style ensemble, with an undeniably cozy fit, including a green and brown plaid shirt, furry pants and a forest green beanie. Fans were quick to praise the look on social media, calling it “forever coded.”
Taylor, meanwhile, wore a black miniskirt with tights, a black top and knee-high boots for the match, while also sporting her signature red lip.
According to Cheterah Jackson, a Columbus, Ohio, real estate agent and friend of Travis, the couple rented a luxury bus to transport their group and reserved the Christmas bar in downtown Kansas City for friends and family.
Jackson tells ET: “My friend Calvin Locke, owner of Grille 55 and Pure Soul and Seafood in Cleveland, Ohio, is Travis’ friend and has known him since seventh grade. We were in the suite at the game, which was filled with family and friends.”
The agent continued, saying, “Taylor is an absolute sweetheart. She is very down to earth and friendly.’
“We had a great time. Patrick Mahomes was there too. He was nice and took a picture for my nephew. Taylor and Travis are so in love. It was so cute seeing them together and I can see them getting married,” Jackson said.
The party at the Kansas City bar took place after the game ended in a 20-17 score.
It was a tough night in which the Chiefs nearly pulled off a win, but lost on a buzzer-beater decision by the officials in the fourth quarter.
At that point, wide receiver Kadarius Toney successfully received a pass from Kelce and rushed into the end zone for a touchdown, so the play did not count as the officials said Toney was offside at first glance.
The call received a strong response from Travis’ Chiefs teammates, including Mahomes who completely disagreed with the situation.
“I played seven years in the National Football League and never had an offensive offside,” Mahomes said told reporters during a post-match press conference. “It not only takes away from this game and this season, but also from Travis’ legendary career [Kelce] has had.”
During the game, Taylor also had an interesting moment after NFL announcer and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo called her Travis’ wife while on air with announcing partner Jim Nantz.
“As you can see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, is in the audience,” Romo noted, quickly correcting himself and saying, “I’m sorry – female friend.”
“Not yet,” Nantz replied.
