Suge Knight will address immediately Cassie‘s claim Diddy once picked up a bunch of guns to confront the ex-Death Row Records boss… TMZ Hip Hop learned it, though Puffy may have already beat him to it.
The ex-Death Row Records honcho will include the Diddy convo on his “Collect Call” podcast in the coming weeks, right after he releases his Thanksgiving Day episode … according to sources involved with the production. At least that was the plan before Diddy and Cassie suddenly calmed down on Friday night.
As we reported … in Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, she had claimed that one night, while she was at home with Diddy, one of his security staff burst into the room to tell him that Suge had been spotted at the popular LA eatery Mel’s. Drive-in dinner.
Cassie claims Diddy immediately got dressed, retrieved several firearms from a safe and ran outside to confront Suge. It appears no public altercation ever took place.
As we said, the ex-Bad Boy singer demanded large damages from her lawsuit against Diddy, claiming she suffered brutal abuse over several years of sex and alcohol-fueled benders. But late last night, she and her ex put their differences aside… both said they did settle the matter “amicably”..
Diddy’s legal team told us the lawsuit was nothing more than a classic $30 million shakedown.
Suge and Diddy’s history dates back to the mid-1990s, at the height of the East Coast and West Coast rap wars, which ultimately ended with the murder of Tupac Shakur And Piggy — so it’s no surprise that we’re told Suge won’t hold back with his take on Diddy’s new legal drama.
