The iconic Lamborghini Leonardo DiCaprio rode in the 2013 hit film, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, is going up for sale… and it could be yours — if you have a lot of money to spend.
The one and only 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary ride will join the Bonhams|Cars line-up for ‘On the Grid: The Abu Dhabi Auction’ next month… and will be sold for the first time since its debut at the big screen shown.
It’s being offered for an estimated price of $1.5 million – $2 million… and is in “as filmed” condition, which means it’s a little worn… but that wear has survived for a decade — it acts as a time capsule for Martin Scorsese‘s video.

It has scissor doors and is neatly finished. The Hero Car is just one of 658 cars ever produced for the 25th anniversary.
Fans will find it hard to forget Leo’s ride in the film… it’s most evident in the scene where the actor’s character, Jordan Belfortwent a little overboard with the quaaludes.
We should note that the production also rented a second Lambo during filming to serve as a backup car, but it was only on screen for a few seconds… so the one for sale is the real deal.
The lucky buyer will also receive a costume that Leo wore in the car scenes, a director’s chair and clapboard – both signed by Scorsese, Leo and Margot Robbie — a few crew hoodies and DVDs of the film, and letters of authenticity.
It seems like every movie lover’s wild dream… you better start selling those stocks to make some money for them!
