This week’s episode of The Kardashians was filled with uncomfortable and “long-awaited” conversations. Tristan Thompson went on his apology tour and spoke to both of them Kylie Jenner And Kourtney Kardashianwho didn’t hold back when it came to discussing his past fraud scandals.
But it was Tristan’s ex, Khloe Kardashianwho made the surprising decision to speak on camera about the 32-year-old NBA star’s son, Theo, for the first time.
‘It’s finished. My son is here. Your other son is here and some of them [my family’s] emotions have settled, not forgotten, not forgiven, none of that, but settled,” Khloé says, referring to the child Tristan fathered with Maralee Nichols while secretly engaged to Khloé.
Tristan and Khloé first met in 2016. Days before welcoming their daughter True Thompson in 2018, the LA Lakers star was caught cheating with his then-pregnant girlfriend. The couple reconciled privately while raising their newborn daughter. Then, in 2019, Tristan was caught infidelity again with Kylie’s live-in best friend, Jordyn Woods. After some time apart, Khloé rekindled romance with the athlete, but in December 2021, a paternity scandal with Maralee came to light. It was revealed that Tristan fathered a child with a fitness instructor while secretly engaged to Khloé. And days before news of the paternity case broke, Tristan encouraged Khloé to perform an embryo transfer to have a second child with her via a surrogate. Khloé and Tristan’s son, Tatum Thompson, was born in July 2022.
It is unknown whether Tristan is involved in Theo’s life. Tristan also shares a son, Prince Thompson, 6, with his ex Jordan Craig.
When news of the paternity scandal broke, it was discussed at the time The Kardashians with Khloé finding out in real time during a phone call with her sister, Kim Kardashian.
Khloé subsequently split from Tristan, and while some members of her family have forgiven him and even expressed support for rekindling their romance, several of Khloé’s sisters have not.
“I don’t think you deserve Khloé, or that the actions you’ve done are anything she deserves,” Kourtney tells him in this week’s episode.
Kylie also calls out Tristan, saying, “You do some stupid things. I think you have such a good heart and good energy, and when you know you’re loved, your spirit and everything, that’s how it is. ” confusing. Because some of the things you do are really fucking crazy.”
