The Princess of Wales is an aunt again! Kate MiddletonJames’ younger brother, James Middleton, has become a father for the first time with his wife, Alizée Thevenet.
James shared on Instagram that he welcomed a son a few weeks ago. Posting a series of photos of his little man, James shared: “He’s only been in our lives for a few weeks but getting to know our beautiful baby boy has been the most special of my life 💙”
The first-time father revealed his son’s name is Inigo, adding: “As prepared as I thought I was… I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and falling in love for my sweet Alizée when we turned three.”
James, who lost his dog Ella earlier this year, posted a sweet photo of his newborn son’s hand in his above a small gold icon of the deceased dog.
“We have settled into our new life as parents and I told him all about Ella and that if it wasn’t for her he wouldn’t be here today and that we miss her so much,” James continued. “The dogs have done a fantastic job of welcoming their little brother into the pack (although Inka should know the teddy bears aren’t just for her…) 🐾”
James also shared a photo of his son lying in a crib as his four dogs watched over the little man. The proud dad also posted a photo of himself wearing a Baby Bjorn carrier as his dog jumped on him.
James and Alizee shared that they were expecting their first child in July, saying at the time, “We couldn’t be more excited.”
The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary in September.
James is the last child in the Middleton family to become a parent. Kate and her husband, Prince William, share children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
