Among the guests attending the carol service in person will also be representatives of some of the late Queen’s patronages.
Alongside the main service at the London abbey, a number of community carol services will be held across the UK throughout December, hosted by local Lieutenants and supported by the Royal Foundation.
While this event, spearheaded by the Princess and supported by William and Kate’s Royal Foundation, will take place next Thursday, it will be aired on Christmas Eve by ITV in a programme titled “Royal Carols: Together at Christmas”.
The broadcast will feature additional content, including an introduction from Kate, clips highlighting the deeds of some of the individuals celebrated during the service and tributes to the late sovereign.
