Julia Roberts reveals the ‘hardest drug’ she’s ever taken

Shout out to Julia Robertswho did not “Plead the Fifth” when asked about “the hardest drug” she has ever done!

During Thursday’s episode of Watch what happens live with Andy Cohenthe Oscar winner took part in the popular segment ‘Plead the Fifth’, in which guests are asked three precarious questions but only get to plead the fifth on one of the questions.

Host Andy Cohen first asked the Leaving the world behind star to name her least favorite Housewife. Roberts didn’t know her name, but she went with the one who went to jail, referring to Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, who is currently behind bars is serving a 6.5-year prison sentence for her involvement in a money laundering scheme.

“I only said that because she’s gone,” Roberts joked. “I feel safe.”

The next question: “What’s the hardest drug you’ve ever tried?”

Without hesitation, Roberts replied, “Mushrooms.”

Cohen then asked her if it was positive, to which Roberts replied, “Yes, it was fun. Not gonna lie. Kids, don’t try it at home!”

Roberts then immediately made the case for the fifth when Cohen asked her to rank three of her films from favorite to least favorite. The cinema? Beautiful lady, My best friend’s wedding, Notting Hill. All classics of course.

In the same episode, so was Roberts asked by a caller if she regretted passing on roles over the course of her legendary career.

“Nothing that I regret, because I think it’s all kind of fate,” she explained, but added that there were two big parts that she passed on. You’ve got mail And The Last of the Mohicans – presumably in the roles that went to Meg Ryan and Madeleine Stowe respectively.

That said, Roberts shared that she nabbed a role that was originally intended for Ryan.

“There are things you don’t understand, like Meg Ryan should have Steel Magnoliasand she was still filming When Harry met Sally and so I got that part,” Roberts thought. “Cate Blanchett would be there Closer but then she got pregnant, so I got that part. So I’ve been lucky with some good things.”
