Hunter Biden has been charged with nine crimes in connection with the DOJ’s investigation into his alleged tax evasion.
President Joe Biden’s son was charged with, among other things, failing to pay taxes, evading tax bills and filing false or fraudulent tax returns.
The new case of special counsel David Weiss arises from Hunter’s business dealings abroad. Prosecutors claim that Hunter at one point owed $2 million to the IRS, which he apparently paid back in 2021… with a loan from a friend.
As we reported, so was Hunter charged with weapons possession in September – charged with one count of making false statements in connection with the purchase of a firearm, one count of making false statements to a federal gun dealer, and one count of possession of a firearm by an illegal user or addict to a controlled substance.
You’ll recall that Hunter had a plea deal on both the federal tax case and the gun situation… but the deal fell through in July after a judge rejected it.
