A LUCKY Lotto player has just weeks left to claim a life-changing prize worth €1,000,500.
Punters in Monaghan are being urged to check their old tickets from Saturday, August 19.
The massive amount was won in the Lotto Plus Raffle which typically sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but in that particular draw one player enjoyed an even higher windfall due to a special Raffle event.
Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in the August 19 draw were entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1million.
While every ticket holder who had the winning Raffle number won €500, one player has won €1million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.
The winning Raffle number for the August 19 draw was: 3249.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Centra on Main Street in Emyvale, Co. Monaghan on August 17.
As ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Friday, November 17.
A Lotto spokesperson said: “We are eager to hear from a Lotto player in Monaghan who has a ticket worth €1,000,500 which they are yet to claim!
“The Drumlin County player purchased their ticket on Thursday 17th August at the Centra store on the Main Street in Emyvale for the 19th August draw.
“We are hoping that this may sound familiar to a player out there and that they come forward soon to claim their life-changing prize.
“As with all of our games, ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize which means that the winner has just over four weeks left as the claim deadline is close of business on Friday 17th November.
“The winner is advised to make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to come to Lotto HQ and claim their €1million prize.”
On Saturday, another lucky player won a top prize of €1,000,000 in the Lotto Plus One Draw.
The numbers drawn were: 11, 13, 16, 25, 45 and 46.
The bonus ball drawn was 2.
And bosses have also revealed the location of Ireland’s newest millionaire who scooped €2.2million in the draw on October 11.
The National Lottery said the player in Co. Laois became Ireland’s 32nd millionaire of 2023.
