Two lucky Lotto players win a huge amount of money as the winning numbers are revealed and the jackpot is rolled

TWO lucky Irish punters won big prizes in tonight’s Lotto draw.

There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot, which was worth a breathtaking €12,015,337, but two players each secured a cash prize of €54,583.

Both players matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win the impressive amount.

The lucky numbers in question were: 2, 8, 12, 26, 44, 45 and bonus ball number 24.

In total, more than 91,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus games, including 14 winners of €2,100.

There was no winner of the Lotto Plus jackpot, which was worth a whopping €1,000,000.

However, 14 players matched four numbers and the bonus ball and won €500 each.

The winning numbers were 1, 12, 20, 22, 37, 45 and bonus number 23.

There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize worth €250,000, but three players matched five numbers and the bonus to win €2,500.

The lucky numbers were: 1, 11, 12, 14, 15, 24 and bonus number 22.

There were 80 lottery prize winners who each received €500 with ticket number 0698.

The main draw jackpot is expected to reach an impressive €12.5 million for Saturday’s draw.

Meanwhile, the National Lottery has urgently warned players to check their tickets carefully after winning a life-changing €1million prize last month.

A lucky Lusk winner managed to scoop the incredible prize in the Lotto Plus draw on December 23.

It was purchased at the Applegreen Roundtower service station.

The staff were thrilled when they heard that one of their customers had won the huge €1 million prize.

And the winning lottery numbers on Saturday December 23 were: 9, 6, 5 and 2.

PRICE NOT CLAIMED

The successful player from Dublin won the big sum at a special event, which saw the Lotto Plus Raffle prize money increased by €1 million for the December 23 draw.

The Lotto Plus Raffle normally sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 per draw, but during the Christmas Eve draw, only one player from Dublin managed to get an even bigger win thanks to the special lottery event.

Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in the draw was entered into a one-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional €1 million prize.

While each ticket holder with the winning ticket number won €500, the North Dublin player won €1 million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.

However, Lotto chiefs have revealed that the lucky player has not yet come forward to claim his €1,000,500 prize.

The National Lottery has advised the Lusk player to sign the back of his ticket and keep it safe.

They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected]. Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their €1,000,500 prize from Lotto headquarters.
