The lucky punter who won a €14.6 million jackpot is making contact with Lotto bosses

A LUCKY punter who won €14.6million in Saturday’s Lotto jackpot has contacted Lotto bosses to collect their winnings.

The winning Dublin ticket holder became the 7^e biggest Lotto jackpot winner in history after purchasing their ticket online.

The winning numbers for the main lotto draw were 3, 8, 10, 24, 32 and 41. The bonus ball was 30.

The top prize had risen to a staggering amount after not having been won since October.

The €14.6 million jackpot was the highest online jackpot winner ever and the biggest win in more than two years.

Meanwhile, in Clondalkin, Dublin, players are being encouraged to check their tickets very carefully today after a Southside player won an incredible €226,373 in last night’s draw.

The player matched five numbers and the bonus after purchasing his winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Tuthills Newsagents in the Mill Shopping Center in Dublin 22.

The winning numbers in the draw on Wednesday January 31 were: 10, 14, 21, 28, 42, 46 and the bonus was 02.

And bosses have confirmed that a bus station in Naas, Co Kildare was the sales location for the winning ticket worth a whopping €1 million.

Shop owner Liam Fitzpatrick was thrilled to hear that one of his customers now has a ticket worth a life-changing amount of money.

And he said it is “by far the largest ticket” they have ever sold in their store, claiming they hope the winner “contacts the National Lottery soon”.

He said: “Once word gets out that we have sold the winning ticket I think we will see many of our regulars and locals checking their tickets.

“Imagine that you have a ticket worth one million euros and have no idea how much it is worth.

“It’s also great news for the community and we’re all very happy here in the store.

“Fingers crossed that the winner emerges soon.”

The Kildare winner, who has claimed the title of second Daily Million top prize winner of 2024, is advised to sign the back of his ticket and keep it safe.

The National Lottery has also confirmed that it will be holding a special “guaranteed to win” Lotto Plus raffle worth €1 million on Saturday.

It joins the Lotto Plus lottery, which typically has between 60 and 120 €500 winners in each draw.

During the Lotto draw, one of these lottery winners will increase their winnings by another €1 million.

For each Lotto Plus line purchased, players receive a four-digit lottery number. Raffle tickets with the drawn lottery number win €500.
