A LUCKY Irish punter scored an incredible €34,508 in tonight’s Lotto draw – but missed the jackpot by just one figure.
The jackpot, which was worth a whopping €2,296,630, will roll over to an estimated €2.8 million during Saturday evening’s draw.

In total, more than 63,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws tonight – including nine players who matched five numbers in the main draw to take home a cool €2,299.
The winning numbers in question were 15, 19, 25, 26, 46, 47 and bonus ball 35.
There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 1 top prize worth €1,000,000, but 14 players managed to scoop €500 each after matching five numbers.
The lucky numbers were: 8, 9, 12, 20, 32, 38 and bonus ball number five.
There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize worth €250,000.
The winning numbers were 5, 10, 12, 18, 20 and 47 with bonus ball 24.
And there were 56 lottery prize winners who received €500 each with ticket number 3913.
The location of the player who won €34,508 is not known, but is asked to sign the back of his ticket and contact Lotto head office.

The winning bettor had a weekend to remember after scoring big in the main Lotto draw last Saturday evening.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket was sold at Mulhuddart in Dublin 15.
Major celebrations are in store at the Spar store in Riverview, Mulhuddart, where the ticket was purchased.
The winning numbers were: 04, 31, 35, 39, 41, 44 and the bonus ball 36.
The successful player won the incredible cash prize during the Lotto Draw on Saturday evening.
However, the winning ticket holder must still report to claim their prize.
The National Lottery is now urging all lottery players in the Dublin and Mulhuddart area to check their tickets to see if they have a winning ticket for Saturday evening.
The ticket holder is advised to sign the ticket, keep it in a safe place and call the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 222 666 or email [email protected].
During Saturday night’s Lotto draw, more than 76,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.
