New setback for lottery winner 'unlucky in love' who had the scoop

UNLUCKY lottery winner Adrian Bayford has suffered another setback after winning £148 million in a EuroMillions jackpot.

Bayford, 53, has been organizing a rock festival at his 35-acre estate in Cambridgeshire since 2017.

But the festival has now been forced to find a new venue for its 20th anniversary, with the blame being blamed on 'management changes' at Bayford's company.

More than 60 bands were scheduled to entertain around 2,000 partygoers at Bayford's £6.5 million pad, Horseheath Lodge.

In a Facebook statement, the Cambridge Rock Festival said: “Stop the press! Location change for 2024!

“The twentieth anniversary of the Cambridge Rock Festival now has a new venue.

A spokesperson added: “For 2024 the festival will now take place at Harlocks Farm.

“The move to Ely came after management changes at Horseheath meant the site was no longer viable.”

Last year the festival was canceled at the last minute because Cambridge City Council had not granted a permit.

There were reports that Bayford's neighbors were angry that he would host the festival again, fearing it would cause 'noise and chaos'.

The festival has been held in Cambridgeshire every summer since 2004.

Bayford, 53, organized it in 2017 and 2018 at Horseheath Lodge in the village of Linton.

The former postman became one of the biggest ever Euromillions jackpot winners in England in 2012.

Bayford, together with his now ex-wife Gillian, took home a whopping £148 million.

But the Suffolk couple split 15 months later after nine years of marriage.

Last month, Bayford got engaged for the fourth time since his EuroMillions win – popping the question to an ambulance worker.

The lottery winner had reportedly been unlucky in love before meeting 48-year-old Tracey Biles.

Bayford and the Cambridge Rock Festival have been contacted for comment.
