AN URGENT warning has been issued by Lotto bosses as one lucky Irish player has just TWO DAYS left to claim an eye-watering prize.
The National Lottery has urged players in Westmeath to carefully check their Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 tickets from the Saturday, April 1 draw as a €40,000 prize remains unclaimed.
Time is quickly running out for the mystery punter who purchased their ticket on the day of the draw at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
The player correctly matched five out of the seven winning numbers in the Lotto Plus 1 draw to scoop the €40,000 prize.
The winning numbers of the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday, April 1, were: 11, 24, 27, 34, 42, 44, and the bonus was 15.
Ticketholders typically have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize, meaning that the Westmeath winner has just two days left to bag the sum.

The claim deadline for this prize is the close of business on Friday, June 30.
A National Lottery spokesperson has issued a final appeal to all Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 players in the Mullingar area to check their old tickets, as there is a player with a ticket now worth €40,000.
They said: “We are eager to hear from the Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 player who won €40,000 in the 1st of April draw.
“With just two days left until the claim deadline, we are appealing to all of our players who may have purchased a ticket at the Top Oil Service Station on the Longford Road in Mullingar for that particular draw to carefully check their old tickets.
