ONE lucky Kildare Lotto punter has scooped an eyewatering €500,000 in the Euromillions draw tonight.
And although no players managed to score the jackpot, worth a huge €40,859,540, over 41,000 Irish players managed to get their hands on a prize.

The winning numbers needed to score the huge jackpot were: 18, 19, 21, 27, 47 and bonus ball 5, 11.
One European winner won a huge €548,279 by matching five numbers and one star.
The Kildare player matched five winning numbers to score their cool half a million in the draw. The lucky digits were: 7, 23, 41, 43 and 45.
And there were 35 Irish winners who managed to match four numbers in order to take home a nice €2,000.
The Ireland Only Raffle Numbers, worth €5,000, were: I-NBK-27825, I-NBS-07349, I-NBS-08486, I-NBS-17594, I-NBS-46931, I-NBS-47399, I-NBS-66753, I-NBS-86262, I-NBT-26119 and I-NBT-89850.
The huge jackpot is set to roll over after no one managed to scoop the life-changing amount.
Meanwhile, Ireland has a new millionaire after a punter scooped the seven-figure raffle prize in tonight’s Euromillions Draw.
The winning ticket for the €1million ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ prize was sold in Sligo – while an additional nine players also won €5,000 raffle prizes.

The winning code for the €1m raffle is I-NBF-65003.
There will be more three further €1m raffle winners in Ireland before the end of the month with events to be held during each Friday EuroMillions draw in August.
And in the National Lottery, one lucky punter won a life-changing €5,541,001 in the Lotto on Wednesday.
Bosses have revealed that a player bought the winning ticket in Galway Shopping Centre, becoming Ireland’s 23rd National Lottery millionaire of 2022 after scooping Wednesday’s jackpot prize.
Newspoint newsagent, Unit 25, Galway Shopping Centre, on the Headford Road, sold the winning Marked play with Plus ticket on Sunday, July 31.
The winning numbers for Wednesday, August 3, draw were: 9, 10, 17, 32, 33, 39 and the bonus was 47
Shop owner Billy Shearer was “overjoyed” on the win.
He said: “I’m absolutely over the moon and delighted. We’re a small newsagent open about a year and we employ eight people.
“This is our first ever big win. Our shop motto is, ‘local newsagent for local people’, so we’re hoping that it’s a local person or syndicate that’s won the big prize.”
