Lotto players are being urged to check the tickets as the lucky bettor will win the big prize

A LUCKY Lotto player is celebrating after matching five numbers and winning the bonus to win €87,233.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from the Centra store at the Maxol petrol station on Athlone Road in Ballymahon, Co. on Sunday, March 10. Longford.

The winning numbers in the draw on Wednesday March 13 were: 02, 09, 23, 25, 28, 34 and the bonus was 35.

Longford Lotto players are urged to check their tickets carefully today as one player now has a ticket worth €87,233.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.

The Match 5+Bonus winner should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected]. Arrangements will then be made for them to claim their prize at Lotto HQ.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Wednesday's Lotto draw saw more than 67,000 players across the country win prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

“A player from Longford took the title of biggest winner of the night after matching five numbers and winning the bonus in the midweek draw, winning €87,233.

“The winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket from the Centra store at the Maxol petrol station on Athlone Road in Ballymahon on Sunday, March 10.

“We urge all our players who may have purchased their tickets at that particular gas station this weekend to check their tickets carefully.

“The winner should contact our prize claims team as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lotto Head Office to collect their prize.”

With no outright winner of the €4,496,070 jackpot in last night's draw, Saturday's jackpot will now roll towards an estimated €5 million.

Meanwhile, one player has 500,000 reasons to celebrate after winning the top prize in Tuesday's EuroMillions Plus draw.

The lucky player bagged the top prize of €500,000 after landing all five balls.

Lotto bosses confirmed the winning ticket had been sold in Dublin.

The winning numbers are 8, 25, 27, 36 and 46.
