Lotto bosses reveal the exact locations of two winning tickets worth €1 million

EASTER brought a bounty to two gamblers who became Lotto millionaires this weekend.

One player from Moville, Co Donegal, scooped €1 million in the special Lotto Plus Raffle event on Saturday.

Lotto chiefs have confirmed that the winning tickets were bought in Co Donegal and Co Dublin

The lucky winner had grabbed a Quick Pick from Doherty's Centra store on Good Friday.

While the lottery normally hands out prizes of €500, the one-off event made them millionaires.

A National Lottery delegation will soon arrive at the Centra store to celebrate the victory.

Meanwhile, another National Lottery player in Dublin also became a millionaire overnight.

The gambler scooped the top prize of €1 million in Friday's Daily Million draw at 9pm.

They won the life-changing prize with a €2 Quick Pick ticket purchased online.

The National Lottery confirmed that a notification and email had been sent to the online account.

A spokesperson said: “It was an incredible Easter weekend for two of our big winners from Donegal and Dublin.

“Saturday evening's Lotto and Lotto Plus draws saw more than 103,000 players win prizes across the country.

“This includes a Donegal player who has won the life-changing sum of €1 million in a special Lotto Plus lottery.

“And that wasn't our only big winner of the weekend. We are now calling on our online players in Dublin to check their emails.”

Both winners are advised to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected].

Wednesday's big jackpot is now estimated to be €6.8 million.
