Taylor Swift wears Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen lingerie on album cover

Taylor Swift looks lovely in lingerie on the cover of her upcoming albumdressed in a set of Maria-Kate And Ashley Olsen‘s fashion line.

The 34-year-old singer unveiled the stunning black-and-white cover of her next release — The department of tortured poets, out April 19 — on Sunday after accepting her 13th GRAMMY Award. In the shot, taken by photographer Beth Garrabrant, Swift is seen lying on a bed surrounded by fluffy white pillows. Her face is only half visible, with the focus on her body and arms as they are wrapped around her waist. The image was shared on Instagram by Swift and her stylist Joseph Cassell offered a fashion loan for The Row in his caption.

In Swift’s messageshe also included an image of a handwritten page that appeared to contain song lyrics, reading: “And so I come into evidence / My tarnished weapon / My muses, acquired like bruises / My talismans and charms / The tick, tick , tap of love bombs / My veins of pitch black ink.”

At the bottom of the page, Swift wrote, “All’s fair in love and poetry – Sincerely, Chairman of the Tortured Poets Department.”

The department of tortured poets will be Swift’s eleventh studio album, following 2022’s Midnights.

More recently, Swift has made history with the reissue of her 2014 album 1989. The (Taylor’s version) the reshoot dropped in october and became her biggest album sales debut ever. This achievement made her the first artist ever to score six No. 1 album debuts with more than 1 million copies sold.

Martyred poets will be Swift’s first original album since then news broke of her breakup out of long-lasting love Joe Alwyn last March, and fans quickly discovered an obvious link to him in the title.

Back in 2022, the actor revealed in an interview that he and his friends Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott had started a group chat titled ‘The Tortured Man Club’.

Sunday’s album news came as a shock to fans, with many thinking it would be Swift’s next release Reputation (Taylor’s version). Swift has both Reputation and her self-titled debut was left in her memory ongoing re-recording project.

Hours before the GRAMMYs, Swift fanned the flames when her website appeared to crash. The carefully crafted error message “Error 321 Backend Retrieval Failed,” indicating a poor phone line connection to a fax machine. Sleuthing Swifties were quick to connect the dots with “Look What You Made Me Do,” in which Swift memorably utters the line, “I’m sorry, old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now.”

Another Easter egg contained a seemingly random line of letters that read “hniergrd.” The letters are uncoded and spell out ‘red herring’ – a clue meant to distract from what is actually happening.

Swift took her home history-making fourth Album of the Year win at the 66th GRAMMY Awards for Midnightsas well as best pop vocal album.

“Okay, this is my 13th GRAMMY, my lucky number. I don’t know if I ever told you that,” Swift joked as he accepted the Pop Vocal Album award. “I want to thank the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the fans’ passion.”

Swift chose “to thank the fans by telling you a secret I’ve been hiding from you for the past two years,” namely the upcoming album release.

Now Swift will set her sights on resuming her Eras tour in Tokyo, Japan, on February 7. She will play a four-night stint at the Tokyo Dome earlier, presumably, to make the quick return journey to the United States to cheer on her current friend, Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelcein the coming Super Bowl LVIII on February 11.

The football star previously confirmed that his Super Bowl training schedule didn’t allow him to make the trip to join her at the GRAMMYs, but he did offer some subtle support on Instagram by ‘liking’ a photo from her on the red carpet live.

Together with friend Lana Del Rey when coordinating black and white looks for the GRAMMYs, Swift chosen for a custom Schiaparelli dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels for her big night. Around her neck was a choker decorated with a clock striking midnight – of course.
