At Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase today, we first saw Star Wars Outlaws, a new open-world narrative-driven game by Massive Entertainment, the developer behind Tom Clancy’s The Division 1 & 2.
While we did not get any gameplay shown at today’s showcase, we won’t have to wait long as the trailer’s end revealed that the company plans to provide a full gameplay walkthrough at tomorrow’s Ubisoft Forward event.
Back in 2021, we learned that Ubisoft would be making a Star Wars game. Following its official announcement, during an interview with IGN SVP of Walt Disney Games, Sean Shoptaw revealed that Ubisoft convinced the company to make a Star Wars game after its first meeting, which was originally to discuss Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Star Wars Outlaws is slated to launch sometime next year.
