LOVE Island’s star Coco Lodge has spoken out amid persistent rumours she and Tasha Ghouri knew each other before the show.
The pair were love rivals on the show after the Casa Amor girl coupled up with her now-boyfriend Andrew Le Page.
Some fans had seized on a picture of Coco with a girl bearing more than a passing resemblance to Tasha in France two years ago.
The picture, taken in Cannes, showed her with what she called a “blonde beauty” – leaving one fan asking: “Tasha?”
But speaking on Instagram last night Coco cleared up the rumours after a fan asked.
She explained: “I’ve seen this one floating about a bit. No.
“Everyone thinks Tasha and me knew each other before because my friend Caroline is very blonde and stunning just like Tasha.
“I saw they were in the press but no they’re different people, we didn’t know each other before going in.”
She also tipped Tasha and Andrew, whose relationship she came close to destroying after spilling some very X-rated secrets, for the win.
Coco said: “I think these are going to be the ones that surprise us. I think they’re really genuine and have had their trials and tribulations in there.
“Honestly watch out, they’re the ones who’ll be together in, like, three years’ time.”
