The House Kris Jenner who pretended to live on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is back on the market, and this time the owner is looking for a ransom from the king to transfer the deed.
The Studio City home, famously used for exterior shots of Kris’ future mansion in the hit E! show — is for sale again… only now, it has seen about 5 years of appreciation, so it’s for sale for $8,888,888.
That’s quite a jump from what the current owner paid back in 2018, when they got it for $5.25 million. If it sells, they’ll get their asking price, which amounts to a profit of more than $3 million… minus what they invested in the property, of course.
Considering the history of this chic property… we’ll see if that will help them secure a buyer in the near future, and more importantly, if it will eventually end up on the stock market.
The fact is, every time the house comes on the market (which has been a lot over the last nine years) the numbers almost always fluctuate quite a bit once all the papers are signed.
For example, while it sold for just over $5 million in 2018…the asking price at the time was closer to almost $8 million, so the owner lowered his asking significantly.
We’ll see what the current title holder will ultimately accept… the fact is that the housing market is rough right now, with interest rates skyrocketing and not nearly as much movement as there was two to three years ago during the pandemic.
As for specs, it’s a typical LA-area luxury home – 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and all the bells and whistles of luxury living. The question…is it worth almost $9 million to buy?!?
In case it wasn’t obvious from the top… this was NOT Kris’ real house. They just used it to pretend to be her crib. Of course, for security reasons, they didn’t show her real house.
Sara Groenberg of Realty One Group West holds the listing.
