The SZN 2.0 comeback could be on the horizon… because there's one organization clamoring to get it Johnny Manziel to get going again – the Arena Football League!!

TMZ Sports spoke to the new AFL commissioner Lee Hutton III — the first black professional league committee in United States history — about the exciting times for the nation's favorite sport … and he looks for some big names to join in.
“Absolutely,” Hutton said. “Some of them have received personal ones [direct messages] mine. I contacted Johnny Manziel. So Johnny, I'm a Texas guy. So if you're ready to come back in — because you've done really well — we'll take you. We'll find a place for you.”
The 31-year-old Manziel was once one of the most electric players on the playing field… winning the Heisman in 2012 and ultimately going into the first round of the NFL Draft two years later.
But things fizzled out… and the former Texas A&M superstar returned to the CFL and other leagues before leaving the sport for good.
Manziel has been open about his struggles with addiction and mental health… but it seems like he's doing much better and on the right track, so maybe he's getting the itch to try again?
Regardless of whether Manziel jumps aboard the AFL ship, Hutton – a lawyer for high-profile cases and celebrities – said there are exciting times ahead for the organization … and they expect to be able to satisfy fans' hunger for football all the way . year.
Hutton added that he has picked the brains of former AFL owners, coaches and commissioners… and everyone has been super helpful as he transitions into the new role.
