Congress' potential TikTok ban isn't sitting right with some people… especially the influencers it will affect James Charles – which absolutely destroyed the government.
The controversial social media star was at the 35th annual GLAAD Awards and — while walking the red carpet — he was asked about the possible TikTok ban that was just passed by the House of Representatives.
'We are starving. People are dying. People are in jail on marijuana charges. We're in a war we shouldn't be in… and TikTok is our most pressing concern? I do not think so.”

Charles didn't mince his words… as he delivered an expletive-laden rant that's taking social media by storm as he laments the number of problems facing the US – and makes it clear he doesn't think TikTok is. one of them.
JC points out that the TikTok bill is relatively new to the discussion table… while many other bills have been waiting before the governing body for years.
James says – if anything – this should show people that Congress can really get things done… but only if it's something that actually benefits them.
Charles says this is exactly why people should vote… especially important because it's an election year, he says.

@cspan
As we reported… the bill is calling on ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, to sell the social media platform or lose access to the U.S. market — and it did so in a rare bipartisan landslide, moving to the Senate on a 352-65 vote.
Anyway, Charles' reaction to the bill's passage is generate some buzz online …and while most people agree that he is right, many of them begrudgingly give him compliments…often making it clear that they are not big fans of his.
