Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan gives birth to first child with footballer husband

Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has given birth to her first child with her footballer husband.

The reality TV star, 30, had been trying to fall pregnant for three months before she eventually conceived.

She started trying for a baby on her honeymoon with footballer Jacob Blyth, also 30, after they tied the knot in June 2022.

They wed in a picturesque ceremony on a rooftop in Ibiza, where they revealed they had always dreamed of having a family together.

Taking to social media, Holly revealed: “Here’s here! We’re doing amazing. Little hospital update will be on my blog tomorrow morning. Huge thank you to the incredible staff at Wythenshawe Hospital.

“I couldn’t have wished for a better birth experience. Just enjoying our little baby bubble.”

In the video, shared by OK!, Jacob is seen telling Holly: “All I think about is growing old with you and creating the most beautiful family together.”

While Holly replies: “Your patience, strength and resilience inspire me every single day and I couldn’t think of a strong role model for our future children.”

The video then fast forward to Holly gifting Jacob with a shoe box – but he’s shocked when he opens it up and sees the positive pregnancy inside.

The journey wasn’t straight forward for the couple, as Holly admitted she had to put their sex life on a schedule to ensure they got what their end result.

Holly and Jacob first met in 2017 and now live on the outskirts of Manchester together.

They began trying for a baby while on honeymoon, but struggled to conceive.

After three months of trying, Holly confessed they opted for the “sperm meets egg” method – and fell pregnant that month.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “They call it the Baby Dance Schedule! From the eighth day of your cycle you’re supposed to have sex every other day. Then once you have a positive ovulation test you have sex every day for three days, then you skip a day and have sex again.

“It’s not the most romantic but it worked. We didn’t leave much room for error. It wasn’t some fairy tale!”

Jacob admitted the honeymoon period was well and truly over after five years of being together and joked that he had added “baby making” into his schedule.

During her pregnancy, Holly joked her baby was ‘deep in the womb’ as she flaunted her incredibly taut stomach on a night out with her Geordie Shore co-stars.

She went on to write: “If I didn’t feel this child wriggling around I honestly would question if it was even in there.”

Best pal Charlotte Crosby, who also recently became a mother, left a sweet comment to Holly’s pregnancy announcement, writing: “Oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhh oh yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

“I can sense some little besties forming!!!! Can’t wait to be moms together! We’ve been a lot of things in our life’s but moms really is the best TRUST ME.”
