CMT Music Awards 2024 reveal the top six nominees for video of the year

The nominations are in, and the 2024 CMT Music Awards will have a lot of familiar faces – and a lot of new ones.

This year marks a five-way top for the former when it comes to total nominations, with Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson receiving three nominations each.

Many of the pack leaders are very familiar with being honored at the CMT Music Awards Jelly Roll is the most awarded artist of 2023 and Johnson earned that honor in 2022. Meanwhile, Wilson was the most nominated artist last year.

As for Ballerini, the singer is not only nominated this year, she is ready to host the show again after previously co-hosting alongside Kane Brown in 2023.

It is notable that there are also fourteen nominees this year, including several artists who are new to the country genre, including Amber Riley, Bret Michaels, Chayce Beckham and Hozier.
