Christine Quinn's husband arrested for alleged assault

ET can confirm that Christine Quinn's husband has been arrested.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office jail records, Christian Richard Dumontet was arrested on a misdemeanor charge Tuesday around 2 p.m. and arrested by Los Angeles police nearly four hours later. At the time of publishing this story, the 45-year-old remains in custody on a $30,000 bond. ET has learned that Christine's 2-year-old son was taken by ambulance to the emergency room from the scene of the arrest. Christine rode in the ambulance with her son and apparently filed a restraining order against Christian to protect her and her son. A source close to Christine calls the situation 'devastatingly raw'.

ET has contacted the former Selling Sunset rep for the star for comment.

According to Page six, who first reported on the arrest, Christian “threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim” but “missed the victim” and instead “hit the victim's child, injuring him.” The outlet, citing a public information officer, reported that the child was seen by paramedics but not taken to the hospital. Citing the police, Page six reported he was booked for alleged assault with a deadly weapon.

Photos obtained by Page six shows Christian taken from his home in handcuffs and barefoot, wearing glasses and a bathrobe.

Christine and Christian, a businessman, share a 2-year-old son named after his father. The couple got married in 2019 and their wedding was turned into a quasi-Netflix special because it coincided with season 3 of Selling Sunset. The Gothic-style soiree (Christine wore a black wedding dress) was extremely over-the-top, including a pair of black swans.

The real-estate agent quit the hit Netflix show after eventually parting ways with The Oppenheim Group, the Hollywood-based, female-dominated real estate company at the center of the series that later spawned Sale of the OC. Christine later signed with IMG Models.

Throughout Christine's Selling Sunset First, she was known for stirring up her share of drama Chrishel Stause And Heather Rae Youngand then with Emma Hernan. In season 5 of Selling Sunset, Emma claimed that Christine offered a client $5,000 to stop working with her, which the latter woman has denied.

On the May 2022 reunion special of the show: Jason Oppenheim said: “Right now there is no room for it [Christine] with the Oppenheim group.”
