'Calm' arms dealer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed finds prison difficult after conviction

Prison is hell for it Hannah Gutierrez-Reed …the gunsmith of “Rust” is having a hard time behind bars as she awaits sentencing for her manslaughter conviction.

Hanna's lawyer, Jason Bowlestells TMZ … she is having a very difficult time in her new home, a detention center in New Mexico.

We're told Hannah's family has already set a time to visit her… and her loved ones are devastated her guilty plea for involuntary manslaughter in the accidental shooting death Halyna Hutchins.

Hannah was found guilty on Wednesday and was quickly booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. posing for a mugshot.

As you know… Hannah was then the gunsmith on the “Rust” movie set. Alec Baldwin shot Halyna during a scene with a prop gun loaded with live ammunition.

Hannah's lawyer says they will appeal her conviction in an attempt to overturn the verdict and sentence.

Although Hannah was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, she was found not guilty of tampering with evidence.

Remember, Hannah's defense blamed the accident on her being overworked by production, and her legal team insisted that Hannah's fatal shooting was not Hannah's fault at all.

Hannah's lawyer says the courtroom was shocked when the guilty verdict was handed down… and it appears she's dealing with shock herself as she tries to adjust to life behind bars.
