Ian McKellen says his painful fall from a London theatre to a hospital mattress might have been quite a bit worse… if he hadn't been in his fats go well with!!!
The legendary actor has opened up about his nasty fall for the primary time, telling Saga Journal that he broke his wrist and fractured his vertebra within the June incident… however that his ribs have been spared due to his costume.
As we reported… Ian was enjoying John Falstaff in a West Finish manufacturing of “Participant Kings” when he fell off stage throughout a battle scene and needed to be rushed to hospital.
Ian says he wore a thick go well with when he performed Falstaff and the additional cushioning softened the touchdown when he fell…saving his ribs and different joints.
